About these terms

This website is operated by ApexYield Ltd, registered in England and Wales, at 14 Clerkenwell Green, London EC1R 0DP. These Terms of Service set out the rules for using ape-xyield.com and the basis on which we sell books to you. By browsing the site, creating an order, or using any of our features, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

We recommend you read these terms alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which together govern your relationship with us. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Where these terms and your statutory rights conflict, your statutory rights prevail.

Eligibility and your account

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract. You are responsible for making sure the information you provide — your name, delivery address, and contact details — is accurate and up to date, so we can fulfil your order correctly. If you provide incorrect information and your order cannot be delivered, we may not be able to refund delivery charges. You are responsible for keeping any account or order-tracking details confidential.

Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the books in your basket at the prices shown. We accept your offer only when we send you a confirmation email; at that point a legally binding contract is formed between us. Until then, no contract exists. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, if there has been a clear pricing or description error, or if we are unable to deliver to your area — and we will refund any payment you have made in full if we do. In the rare event we cannot supply a title, we will contact you with alternatives or a refund.

Pricing

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Book prices may vary over time, and we reserve the right to change prices at any time before you place an order; the price you pay is the one shown at the moment your order is confirmed. Delivery is charged separately and shown clearly at checkout before you pay. While we take great care to keep prices accurate, occasional errors happen. If we discover a clear pricing error after you have ordered — for example a book listed at a fraction of its true price — we are not obliged to fulfil the order at the incorrect price. We will contact you before charging or dispatching, and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. Our delivery terms are:

• Standard UK delivery is £2.90 and typically takes 2–3 working days; it is free on all orders over £25.
• Orders placed before 3pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day from our London warehouse.
• Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier, adverse weather, or other events outside our reasonable control.
• Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, but ownership passes only once we have received payment in full.

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time of the estimated date, contact us and we will investigate with the courier and put things right.

Returns, cancellations and refunds

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order, and as a goodwill gesture ApexYield extends this to a full 30 days. You may return any book in readable, resaleable condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. To start a return, simply email us — there are no forms and no interrogation. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, or of you providing proof of return, whichever is sooner. You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty. Faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items are refunded or replaced at no cost to you, including postage.

They are not personalised financial advice, and they are not regulated financial advice within the meaning of the Financial Services and Markets Act. The books we sell reflect the views of their authors, not ApexYield. Always consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, consult a suitably qualified and regulated financial adviser before making financial decisions. ApexYield is not responsible for any decisions you make, or losses you incur, based on the educational content or books we provide.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it. In particular, you must not attempt to breach or test our security, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data at scale, place fraudulent orders, or use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it. You must not use the support chat or forms to send abusive, unlawful, or spam content. We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service to anyone who breaches these rules.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, book summaries and reviews, images, illustrations, the ApexYield name and logo, and the overall design — is owned by ApexYield Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or exploit any part of the site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. The books themselves remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers and authors.

Third-party links

Our site and articles may contain links to third-party websites, such as author pages or external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those sites, and a link does not imply endorsement. You access third-party sites at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under law. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, income, or anticipated savings. We are not liable for any failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, our practices, or our services. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order. We recommend checking this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
